This was the very first recipe I made in my Instant Pot. It was love at first bite. I guarantee this will be the tastiest, easiest, most tender beef stew of your life.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil I prefer camelina oil.
- 2 lb cubed stewing beef
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 lb carrots, diced
- 1 lb potato, diced
- 1/2 cup frozen spinach, drained
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 cup low sodium bouillon
- 1 tsp worchester sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Servings:
Instructions
- Set Instant Pot to sauté function. Brown beef with garlic in the oil for 5 min. Add onions, tomato sauce, worchester and bouillon. Cook the meat on the manual setting for 30 minutes. Perform a quick release. Then add the vegetables and cook on the manual setting for 4 minutes. You can let the pressure release naturally or use the quick release.
